Where to start??!!! :-)

Fairly new to this blogging stuff, but I think it will be fun to post things each day so that my family and friends can keep up with me! Good Luck guys! Anyway, one of the most recent things I've been dealing with is the loss of my cat - Cricket. She was PTS just over a week ago after suffering a short bout of CRF. If you've ever lost a beloved companion, you know exactly how I feel right now. At times the grief is nearly overwhelming - like when I walk by the places where she used to bask in the sun...or the place where her food bowl sat for so long. It's hard and not a day goes by that I don't shed a tear or two. Crazy, I know, but she was such a part of my life for so long - nearly 16 years - that it feels like there's a huge empty spot in my heart. I know all of this is God's will, but I definately wasn't ready for this day to come. I know we'll meet again some day because as is God's plan, she and her sister Tiddy Tat who went before her, wait for me beside the Rainbow Bridge. If you've never heard of the Rainbow Bridge, it's the most incredible thing and brings tears of joy to the eyes of any pet owner. That's all for now. Have a blessed day!
